I am blessed with sleep,
You know,sleeping comfortably,
and now
mostly without nightmares.
I pull the duvet right up to my chin
And hug my teddy bear.
Like a bird
figetting into its nest at dusk,
I get comfy.
I keep on the tv
and watch the news.
I fall into a light sleep
thinking,
I must switch of the tv to save money
but too lazy to get up from bed.
I thank the Lord for the blessings of the day
and drift away………
