This is the first edition of Transparent Words. The intention over the coming editions to develop the magazine as a serious poetry magazine. But prospective contributors and readers should not take this to mean that it will be a magazine of serious poetry as humour is always an acceptable way of dealing with serious subjects.

After you have read the contributions in this months poetry section, you are invited to send me an indication of how you feel about them. please bare in mind that most comments should focus on the poem and not just the views expressed by the poet. A selection of views will be published in the next magazine.
