Transparent Words - Poetry

Harping

By Sheila E. Murphy

She has sweet inseams as guesses readily unclasped
Although I wish she would leave
Intervention to the tripwire so a little of the majesty
Could genuflect to curfews willingly imposed
By the suspicional police in day-trade posture
Auspices we reap ahead in stores whizzing along
The online eyefields semitoned and grasped
A speech would be in order if she would only
Screech instead of sing, instead the lira keep
This arbitrary flow it seems from draining pi r squared
Where rainbows sleeve their way across
Defined form as a scream would label pacts
Made twenty years before her saving had been reached
And taffy stretched across this rumor mill entirely
Ported to the elbow room in tirades
