Transparent Words - Poetry

Wanted
By Frank Faust

Wanted.
It wasn't murder, but,
you're wanted,
you did a crime.
Wanted.
You made me poorer, you
took away some thing of mine.

Your face,
is on the wall, now.
Your face,
is a reward.
Your face,
stays my reminder, that,
you're free, until you're caught.

I don't know how you did it,
but, I know you broke the law.
You never laid a glove on me,
all it took, was what I saw.

I know you did a major theft,
I know what I have lost,
but, I don't know just what to think,
or, how to calculate the cost.

Wanted.
I need you captured.
You're wanted,
I've laid a charge.
Wanted.
Can't let you be, you,
must not stay at large.

Your face,
did all the damage.
Your face,
slipped under guard.
Your face,
has got to answer, for
robbery under arms.

I can't let you off the hook,
with all the things you did.
Do you think that if you smile at me,
you'll get away without a writ?

You can't escape a sentence,
because you did all that, and more.
You must be held. Responsible.
submit to rule of law.

Wanted,
come back to justice.
You're wanted,
to do time, hard.
You're wanted,
for the offense of
the stealing of my heart.

You're wanted,
for break and entering my heart.
