Firestorm
runs through dirt toward water jumps ditch
picking up speed nothing can stop the inevitable
Groundwork
rock in dirt hollows out its niche a place to dwell
Waterline
water etches through dirt leaves a trail down the pane taking me with it
Shadow Under The Bridge
floating on water underneath wooden slats covering the hidden places where dreams swim free to be caught or released rocks and sticks snag pull into roiling waters disturbed from convention open to chance
Straw Hat
fourteen silk flowers
attached
circled
braided
twisted
turned
no leftovers
except
the last straw
Jade Coat
put on your jade coat emerald green silicone green glass repellant
protection from the elements you cannot survive without it
it fits so neatly now each pleat in place as you move
revealing the shape of things
