left eye blink to replay scenes of zeal

  • shiny tapes

    tiny clicks

    of the tendons

  • activated device to relive fleeting flush sweat & breath

  • humid hours

    rusty wires?

    pleasure

    was not found

  • unsolicited shock nonconsensual horror instead

  • what went wrong?

    where’s the excitement?

    where is handsomeness?

what’s the advantage of losing an eye?

  • he remembered his memories differently

  • not arachnid hairy hairs
  • lunar craters

    bleeding sphere

    blown up skin

    monstrous eyes

    wildlife ears

  • steamed by the breath of a giant

  • sweat torrential

    fluids fluid

    pixelated mist

    zooming gloomy fading glowing

    noise electric

  • blinks & clicks wear out the tape

  • right eye shy skeptic

    left eye vigilant synthetic

microchips viewfinder mounted in his temple

    forward backward

played and rewound in his skull

couldn’t recognize his lover on his bio-screen

  • they should have listened to him

the doctors and the engineers who restored his damaged eye

  • DVD would’ve fit best in his brain

then he’d be able to edit things

    make them up

    print them

    serves him right

    what’s the point?

    why track down dizziness?

VHS is not dated just yet

    it is almost organic

like the glass is his eye bulb

    copper in his brain lobes

    prosthetic memories of what?

  • did he think he’d record orgasm on tape?
