discussion group whose membership is largely British academics.

The Prufrock
e-mail-based discussion list describe themselves as
"60 thoughtful and creative individuals in a cozy flame-free
environment for the discussion of reading, writing, their work,
and quite literally anything else that crosses their minds."
They're looking for a few good members. Could you be one? If so,
