UK Poetry Magazines

A guide to poetry magazines and literary journals published in the United Kingdom, with particular attention to independent magazines and useful publication opportunities for poets. The list includes print, online and hybrid publications and is divided into England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Magazines published in the Republic of Ireland are listed separately on our Republic of Ireland Poetry Magazines page.

Please note: submission windows and editorial arrangements change frequently. A magazine may be active while temporarily closed to submissions. Always check the publication's own current guidelines before sending work, and read the magazine first whenever possible.
