Beyond the French Drain
The line of blue stone marks it a place apart
This greener place that astonishes the crab grass
Here the mossy bed breathes, yielding and pushing back without sound
Loosing water from spongy depths into the curled coves between naked toes
Filtered by dense tangles Rinsed with the best, last rain
