Visiting Hours Are Over
Visiting hours are over.
Shut off the moon when you leave, turn down the sun.
I hear the river running.
Could you jiggle the handle please?
Close all the windows of opportunity
and draw the shades.
Shut the doors of perception
behind you on your way out. (Just give them a good hard tug.)
And leave a light on just in case.
The North Star will do nicely.
And by all means
just sweep everything under the rug. |
