Aaron Lembo Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Aaron Lembo
has an MA Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan
University and has taught English in China, Vietnam and Spain. He
was the winning librettist at the 2017 Rosmaond Prize. His librettos
have also been performed at the Leeds Lieder Festival and the
International Anthony Burgess Foundation. His poems have appeared
online and in print. Currently Aaron lives in Kent. Written on February 1st 2020 at the time
when he was living in Ho Chi Minh City. View From
A Hospital Bed,
Zhangjiagang A bulbous sleek crow weighs heavy on the thin bough and observes the snow. My heartbeat is slow; My lungs are sick. Rose petals stain the cracked window. |
