Rainbow Thoughts

These are the thoughts that are blue as the sea,

green as the grass or the leaves on the trees,

yellow as cowslips,

red as sunsets,

orange as a piece of fruit,

indigo like the deep corners of the mind,

violet as a unicorn's tears.

They come and they go, these thoughts,

like the wild flowers in the meadows,

like unicorns on the far horizon,

like the rainbows in your dreams.
