on repeat: Kraftwerk in concert

i.m. Florian Schneider, (1947-2020)

compute me and get some validation for yourself Florian

I can be techno too you know

on repeat on repeat on repeat

black on white/white on black

anyway you want me baby

your numbers explode in me like sneezes

the infinitude of green noise that comes with you

some funky sexy groove

I never thought of numbers this way

never saw them light up inside my head

no fear no fear until the flatline green

we are still free and so clean so exact

percussive and heartening

all our extended loops metal on metal

the beauty we all know lies inside the machine

your arpeggiated synth-lines borderless

even the tender poetics of radioactivity

put forward by poets of sound seduction

and the tenderness of wires which haunts me

let us review our lives use the rhythms of consolation
