Heather Walker New Malden, Surrey, UK Heather's poetry has appeared in several
anthologies, magazines and online, including Visual Verse, Helen Cox
Books, The People's Friend, OU Poets. She also writes flash fiction
and short stories. Written 22nd March 2020 Mother’s Day There could be no touching, no hugs, no kisses. I’d brought cake and flowers, handed them through the window. We laughed about it, talked about after. We agreed to Skype later, blew kisses from a distance. I left her in dad’s hands, the safest hands she could have.
