Corona coriolis

Bucket lists on hold,

both young and old

are being cheated of

their dreams by this.

Breaths are being held,

careers, relationships,

solvency for some,

escape for others.

All freeze-framed

as the threat rolls on.

Is there a precipice

to come, a mushroom cloud,

a whisper, or a bang?

“As flies to wanton boys...”

the mad king saod,

as on and on

the virus spread.

Will that sigh be the last?
