Isolation

Isolation is a discipline;

An ancient religious practice of contemplation

That comes from searching the kingdom found within.

Isolation is a soul station;

Fuelling the inner life for the journey ahead.

The road is dark, but we need not walk it alone,

Our burden is lightened if we allow it to be.

Isolation is discovering something new;
Abandoning the old self in the desert

We find that the most precious things in life

Are unseen – the things cannot perish.

So we empty our hearts to be refilled afresh

With ever flowing waters that quench eternity.

Isolation; is a view from a new horizon
