Window

I watch the world through framed glass

Many scenes, one cast, no story

Then silence. More silence.

Hours of birds

Seconds of people

Fragments of life

Broken conversations

Vigilant eyes

Searching for safety

A boy on a scooter passes by

He smiles, I wave.

Then birds. More birds.
